Digital Measurement and Scanning
In traditional dentistry, measurements of teeth and jaws for procedures such as prosthetics, crowns, and fillings are taken using metal trays filled with paste. This method can trigger the gag reflex in patients and may not always provide accurate results. In digital dentistry, teeth are scanned using an optical camera, and the data is transferred to a computer in three dimensions, utilizing the three-dimensional scanning method.
